some of them are actually flying to india, chennai in feb to attend one of the phd student's wedding, and the girl asked me to go too??!?! nah dont think im going, cos im super broke, and it's damn awkward cos im not very close with them anw. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. my holidays are non-existent. i have NOT gone out at all, in fact since weeks/months. is there ever a day where i can leave lab before 8pm?? and from next week onwards, i cant afford to slack anymore, cos my prof is on leave for 2 weeks (!!) and i will be on my own. tons of journals and texts still left untouched. and to tell the truth, i dont really know what's going on most of the time, im like, trying to patronise my supervisor. oops. and he's a good prof, my senior reminded me lots of time before. so i better get all stuff sort out in these 2 weeks while he's away. eg, learn the synthesis, sort out the data, find journals, read up textbooks. no more skiving in the lab! progress report in 5 weeks' time! |
